Jute is a sustainable plant that is grown in regions of India and Bangladesh in a 4 month period just prior to the rainy season. It is fast growing and uses land that would otherwise be dormant at that time so increasing revenue for the farmers. Due to its sustainability and versatility you will be seeing more and more products made of this. We had the great fortune of finding this practical and light weight bag which is strong but flexible so can be used for a variety of purposes. I use mine to carry chunky jewellery and another for some of my DIY bits and bobs. My partner has one to store his cyclist paraphernalia. See what I mean- multi-purpose The raw jute has been laminated inside to stiffen and protect the natural fibres. The natural jute look is preserved on the outside while the inside is wipeable and practical for carrying all your toiletries and will cope with spillages. The lamination creates a structured, solid, long-lasting bag. We want our products to last and we know what a bashing a toiletry bag needs to take, especially when travelling. The main zipped space is big enough for all the essentials, with a bit of extra space in the side pocket.
