Review: The manufacturers of this toothpaste deserve credit for creating an environmentally-friendly product; the toothpaste comes in a glass jar with metal screw-top which is easily recyclable. I found the bitter, herbal flavour pleasant, though I doubt that all users will like it. The appearance - the paste is grey and has the consistency of putty - is unattractive, but this is relatively unimportant. The major drawback, so far as I was concerned, was the lack of a foaming agent - the technical term is, I believe, a 'surfactant'; the consequence is that the paste does not fill one's mouth and one feels as if only the teeth to which it is first applied are properly cleaned. Some reformulating is needed, I think; but I wish the manufacturers every success.
