Review: Updated 27/2/20. Updated to a 4 star as I Love using these (though comments about whether you need them below still stand). For some reason i love the tacky feel of them. Its just the price stopping me giving a 5 star. The packaging and pandoo design is lovely, although I wasn't mad on the patterns of the wraps themselves, though that doesn't really matter. And I'm all for avoiding waste and stopping pollution .... as everyone should be, so I've been keen to try these for a while now. And we all know there are a lot of wasteful things out there that pollute our environment ... plastic being one of them. So for all those jobs where you normally use cling film or sandwich bags then these could be a good alternative. Though you can't get a water tight seal on them. Of course you do need to ask yourself (presuming you do actually want to avoid waste and stop polluting the planet) whether you need these at all in place of plastic bags and clingfilm. For example I like to use what I already have, I.e. I'll cover things in the fridge with a plate or pop things in a plastic container that I already have ... i have a myriad of plastic seal tight containers in all sizes and you do have to remember that there's no point throwing away your existing stuff to make way for something new as that's just wasteful as well. So use what you have ... don't pollute landfills with more plastic just to make way for environmentally friendly beeswax wraps! Yes there's definitely a place for these and much better than buying sandwich bags, although a pack of 3 isn't going to go very far, especially when the small one isn't going to be of that much use. But IF you really need to buy sandwich bags or clingfilm then it's a great idea to buy these instead and save money by re-using them, plus they are sort of fun and have an interesting feel about them. These are a bit expensive though and this brand more so than others and obviously only you can decide if the outlay is worth it to you. Personally I'm not sure I would buy again as I can't remember the last time I used clingfilm and I only use plastic food bags for freezing if I need an air tight seal and can't fit It in a plastic container ..... and even then i rinse them out and re-use them. Anyway I hope you found this helpful.
