The?rubberwood handle is carved from rubber trees that have finished yielding latex in Sri Lankan rubber plantations.? There is also?a handy cotton hanging loop, so the brush can hang up to dry between uses. Coir is the fibrous material found beneath the matured brown coconut husk. Its unique properties make it ideal for making brushes and reduces global waste - discarded coconut husks are often burnt which is very damaging to the environment.
