Description: All Hydrophil toothbrushes are green but this one is also green in colour! It is made from fast-growing bamboo while the bristles are made from renewable castor oil. An all-round eco-friendly toothbrush - vegan, petroleum & BPA-free and water-neutral. Castor oil is a natural product made from the seeds of the castor oil plant (Ricinus communis ). The raw material is used neither as food nor as animal feed, and its cultivation therefore does not compete with food crop cultivation areas. 10% of profits go to a charity providing access to clean drinking water for people living in the southern hemisphere. The hundreds of choices we make each day impact the environment. Sometimes it's a big decision? sometimes it's as small as changing your toothbrush. Over a billion toothbrushes in the US alone are used and disposed of each year, amounting to approximately 23,000 tonnes of landfill each year. The plastic they?re made of will not break down in our lifetime. Nor within the lifetime of our children or our children's children. Imagine that on a global scale. Available in Soft, Medium or Children's in a variety of colours. Please note: the new bristles are made from the most environmentally friendly material that is currently available. Nevertheless, they are unfortunately not compostable under normal household conditions. We therefore still recommend that the handle and the bristles be disposed of separately. A simple change for you - a big change for the earth.

Review: Love this toothbrush. Well made and quite stylish in a minimal way.
