Review: I liked the product because it's effective for my 1 year old baby whom suffers with ezema. The only downer would be that they don't sell it in bigger tubs. It's a good product. The service by amazon is the best delivery service out there. You order and receive it like almost next day. As far as am concerned they have no competition!

Review: My son and I both have debilitating contact dermatitis (eczema) on our hands and feet and eczema flare-ups on our face and other areas. Let me give you a bit of background info on why we tried out this cream and then how it has helped so far! Our skin during a bad flare-up will quite literally pop at the seams from very minimal movement in our hands and feet (not really something we can avoid!) and just the top of our hand brushing against something as simple as a slightly rough edge on a coat sleeve when getting dressed leaves us in agony with red swellings and open cuts. Cortisone creams have become less and less effective over the years (a common problem) and you aren't meant to use cortisone cream on open wounds either (something that we constantly have). Additionally having to moisturise our hands all the time means putting a plaster over a cut is very short lived as our hands are always slippery so we are constantly at risk of infection. I use coconut oil regularly for its antibacterial and antifungal properties (anyone with bad eczema/dermatitis on their hands can vouch for the funky smell you can start to get between your fingers as its a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi and your skin's natural defenses are completely down). Disinfecting these cracks and wounds any other way is just going to dry the skin out even more! The coconut oil and a spray of colloidal silver solution directly on cracks/cuts does keep infection at bay but coconut oil on its own sadly just isn't moisturising enough. Due to our allergies we avoid most commercial products (soaps, perfumes, body lotion etc.) and try and err on the side of minimal ingredients in any products we do buy. Whilst this cream does have some ingredients I normally would avoid (alcohol is drying for the skin) it also has coconut oil and manuka honey so if effective will cut down on me having to disinfect the wounds extensively before moisturising (more toll on my hands when really they want to just be left alone to recover!). On the very first application of this cream I felt immediate relief. My hands are not currently itchy so I can't comment on that side of things but the intense dryness that leads to the cracking of my skin felt immediately relieved, so much more so that with any prescribed moisturiser I've used. This cream is perfect for fighting the dryness from dry air and heating in your home at this time of year or from hot baths etc. In my experience as other reviewers have noted, actual allergic flare-ups are almost never cure-able with anything other than the big guns (cortisone creams/steroids). This cream will absolutely treat the symptoms and the dryness that leaves you vulnerable to flare-up but as eczema and psoriasis are auto-immune responses unless you eliminate the allergens that are causing your flare-up there is only so much a cream can do. For my son and I we have a Cow's Milk Allergy and to my great disappointment flare up from any vegetables or fruits from the nightshade family (tomatoes, aubergines, potatoes, chilli, bell peppers etc.). No matter how good a cream is if I eat any of these allergens its going to take persistence to clear up an allergic flare-up. This cream can help with the symptoms but the only long term relief is avoiding allergens.
