Review: So far, so good. Smells wonderful. Stick with it. I have waist length, very thick, naturally wavy hair. Which has been coloured for years although recently I have been using only semi permanent colours. I only wash my hair once or twice a fortnight. First wash. Didn't really get much lather. Felt terrible afterwards. Itchy scalp. Heavy greasy feel to my hair which naturally feels dry normally. Ok. So I have read up on this stuff a bit and realise this is a process. Having used only washing up liquid rinses for months I wanted something which was Sulfate free and less irritating to my scalp which is more sensitive now I am peri menopausal. Second wash. 5 days later. Sooner than I would normally wash but I really really needed to. Lathered up lovely. Even in our ridiculous hard water. Felt wonderful. I rinsed really thoroughly. My hair can take up to 6 hours to dry naturally usually. This time it was a couple of hours. Wonderful. It feels fab! Ok my colour has suffered bit I expected that. It's ok. Will just have to find a way to deal with that. No one promised this would be straightforward and you need to stick with it. I have a feeling this is going to be perfect for me in the long run, subscription here I come! Trial and error for what is right for you. We are all different. I love this stuff now. I hope it works for you too. Can't wait to try their other products. Minimal packaging too! I love the fact there are very few ingredients. I know what they are. There is no trying to disguise stuff under fancy chemical names. No palm rubbish too!

Review: I wanted this shampoo to work, big time because of the natural ingredients. However after trying it three times I despaired that anyone could make this product. It lathers well so you feel your getting a good shampoo. But when you rinse it out the hair feels tacky as though you've put wax on it. As wax and water don't mix, its not a nice feeling. When you dry your hair that tacky/ waxy feeling stays. The hair is not shiny but dull and flat. It doesn't feel like my hair but as though it is coated. I was so shocked by the results I telephoned the company. I wanted to know why the shampoo was having this effect. The owner, and its a company of two people had little to say other than 'I don't know', this was his reply to every question. If you are a small company making a supposedly 'friendly soap' surely you should have something more pertinent to say. He told me he would refund me, whilst I was happy to go via Amazon he asked me for my bank account details and told me he would refund me in a few minutes. He further asked me to check my account in an hour to make sure it had gone through. He seemed sincere and I didn't check my account straight away, I waited for my statement. When I got my statement, I'd not received a refund. So I telephoned again and this time spoke to a different person, the first was 'on holiday'. I explained I didn't get the refund and he said Rob would call me back. When I didn't hear anything I called again and gave my bank account details again, assuming it would go through. The following day I got a call saying Rob had credited my paypal account three weeks ago. As I do not have a paypal account, I found this quite remarkable. I also find it odd that he'd ask for bank details, if he was then going to refund an imaginary paypal account. The chap kept saying I'd been refunded to my paypal account. Despite reasonably explaining all that had gone on, he just wouldn't hear what I was saying. He said that if he refunded me they'd have to chase me up because they'd refunded me twice. He seemed either unintelligent or wilfully deceitful. The service proved to be really shocking, first to claim not to know anything about a product; which your marketing would suggest you are soooo proud off. To lie and say you are refunding when you don't. And to take bank details which you could misuse. I don't have confidence in the company or the product. I would not recommend them. I am disappointed by the experience because I wanted to find a natural bar shampoo. There are far better companies out there I am sure.
