Review: This cute little box contains 2 double ended nylon q-tips which you can simply use and then wash clean. I ordered them for my fiancé to use as he is always cleaning his outer ears to remove excess earwax. Now he keeps these cleaning buds with his grooming products so that they are always ready to hand. No more having to purchase 100s of single use cotton buds that then go into the trash and landfill. I feel everyone should own a set of these re-useable cotton buds as I can imagine they would be so useful for so many things. The stems of the buds are made from plastic and don’t bend when you are using them so this product really should last for years and years!

Review: I’ve mixed feelings about this product. I love the idea of doing without cotton buds and using something that you don’t dispose of after each use, so I jumped all over this. However my main problem is the lack of absorbency. For instance, if you want to use it absorb water from your outer ear like I do after a shower, it won’t do that. It’s good for smudging eye make up, or cleaning a bit of excess powder off, but it much more tricky because it doesn’t really hold on to anything easily. I’m also not sure of the nobbley ended one. I don’t know what I would use that for, unless it was something that was really stuck on well, like dried mascara. I’ve yet to find a good use for it. So in principle I really like the idea of this product and I have found it a useful replacement in some instances for a traditional cotton bud, but it doesn’t replace them all together, in my opinion.
