Please note: A water and energy saving replacement flowpoint shower head is NOT suitable for use with electric showers or Venturi showers. 1. You will need a household bucket which should hold a minimum 9 litres (2 gallons), and a stop watch or clock with a second hand. 2. Put the bucket in the bath or the shower, and run the shower at its normal setting into the bucket for one minute, and then stop. 3. If the bucket fills and overflows in less than a minute, your shower is discharging water at a rate in excess of 9 litres (2 gallons) per minute and depending on the time left to run on the clock, probably in excess of 14 to 16 litres (3 to 3.5 gallons) per minute. 4. A Flowpoint shower head is rated at 8 litres per minute at normal domestic shower pressure, so you will save energy, water and money by fitting one! 5.
